Art galleries in Jerusalem

Jerusalem is an important center of the arts, going back to 1906, with the establishment of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. The Bezalel Academy joins many other Jerusalem-based art schools and institutions in setting the unique tone of the Jerusalem art scene, making the city a hub for art students and artists alike.

While there are not as many art galleries in Jerusaelm as there are in Tel-Aviv, the city is home for renowned art establishments such as The Israel Museum, Art Cube Artists' Studios, The Jerusalem Artists House and Hansen House.
