Contemporary art in Tel Aviv

As the center of Israel’s contemporary art scene, Tel-Aviv is home to most of the contemporary art galleries and display venues in Israel. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art has a dedicated department for Modern and Contemporary Art, but contemporary works are also showcased at the Department of Israeli Art and the Department of Photography at the museum. The Helena Rubinstein Pavilion for Contemporary Art is a venue operated by the museum, joining the museum’s two main wings on Sderot Sha'ul HaMelech

Also worth noting is the CCA – The Center for Contemporary Art at the heart of Tel-Aviv, and Fresh Paint Art Fair - Israel’s main Contemporary Art & Design Fair, taking place yearly at changing locations across the city.
